Vintage Motors of Sarasota is closely associated with the Sarasota Classic Car Museum, and is in fact located right next door. The Sarasota Classic Car Museum is recognized as the second oldest continuously operating antique car museum in the Nation. Since 1953, it has featured immaculately restored vintage automobiles spanning over a one-hundred year history of man’s automotive genius!
Vintage Motors of Sarasota actively contributes to this nationally recognized and locally loved “not for profit” classic car museum. SCCM is historically recognized and located in its original location on Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, Florida. Vintage takes great pride in assisting the SCCM with important Historic Sarasota acquisitions, like the John and Mable Ringling families cars. Vintage Motors of Sarasota also assists the Museum in developing special exhibits, like the well received “History of Porsche & Ferrari” exhibit that began in 2020 and was extended through 2022. Vintage helps the Museum organize community events that generate much needed funds and donations. Sarasota Classic Car Museum has an IRS recognized 501(c)3, and a knowledgeable faculty that can assist with donation documents. This unique relationship has led to other car museums around the country requesting Vintage’s knowledge and assistance with acquisition and liquidations.
