This XK150 Open Two Seat roadster is an outstanding example of the ultimate evolution of the XK-series. Finished in the classic combination of white over a red leather interior, it benefits from an extensive, body-off restoration by marque specialist Lloyd Gillespie. Since then, it has been shown at JCNA events and concours, earning numerous accolades along the way. Starting in 2011 and completed in 2013, the comprehensive body off 2,400+ hour restoration was said to have cost upwards of $230,000. All the correct steps were completed when performing this restoration to concours standards including bare metal paint job, proper panel fitting as well as exacting details in the engine bay and chassis.

According to the accompanying Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, this car was completed on October 3, 1958, finished in cream over black upholstery, and delivered via Jaguar Cars in New York. Originally equipped with a Borg-Warner automatic transmission (as indicated by the ‘BW’ serial number suffix), it has since been updated with the preferred 4-speed manual. It retains its original 3.4-liter block and head, and the engine is well-detailed with the requisite polished alloy cam covers, intake manifold, concours-quality fittings and hardware. This Jaguar will be accompanied with recent receipts, original steering wheel for concours events, tool roll, jack, service manual, as well as miscellaneous awards and plaques.
