 Built
in 1952, the Sarasota Classic Car Museum (SCCM) opened its doors to the
public in February of 1953. Although the SCCM has changed ownership
over the years it has operated continuously and now enjoys the
recognition of being one of the oldest car museums in the world.
The museum
is also available to rent for any private event you can imagine!
We have two very large areas with lots of flexible space, sure to make
your event one to remember!

Leo Hoyt opened in 1949 on Main Street in Sarasota,
and has been in the present location since 1979. Leo's father and
grandfather both began as trimmers at Judkins Carriage Works in
Massachusetts. Leo's grandfather started there in the 1880's and
actually upholstered John Ringling's Carriage. Today, some of our
trimmers have been with us for over 20 years, keeping the same Hoyt
craftsmanship as the original founder.
